What Co-op is doing to protect you
COVID-19 UPDATE

Communication to our community is important to us and essential to your protection.

As Winkler Co-op locations provide services during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are also working to protect the health and safety of members, customers, and employees.

We have recently learned that an employee working at our Morden Food Store location has been confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19. To protect the community, the following actions were taken:

  • Manitoba Public Health has been contacted and there have been no close contacts that have been identified at this time.
  • Winkler Co-op performs a thorough deep clean of the work area, and continues to sanitize regularly including ongoing electrostatic fogging.

We appreciate the work being done by all of our employees in serving the community and we are working to support them through this pandemic. That is why, when any employee feels unwell or shows symptoms, they are directed to self-isolate at home and seek guidance from Health Links.

Other Measures include: mandatory masks, non permeable barriers, physical distancing requirements, increased sanitization, one-way aisle markers, customer limiting, increased signage, electrostatic fogging, and encouraged deliveries and free curbside pick-up.

We understand the impacts of COVID-19, which is why we want to be transparent and disclose broad details about the confirmed cases while ensuring the confidentiality of our team. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this pandemic.
