Calling For Nominations 2023
THIS IS YOUR CO-OP.
If you have experience or interest in financial and business operations, enjoy working in groups and care about the future development of Winkler Co-op, consider allowing your name to stand for nomination as a Director (Directors will be elected for a three-year term.)
As a member of the board, a director acts in the interest of our members and is responsible for the effective governance of our co-operative. Directors are elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting, which this year is being held April 18th at the Buhler Active Living Centre.
Nominees will be given a timeslot at the AGM, to address members and present their reasons for serving as a board member. Board members represent the communities of Winkler, Morden, Plum Coulee, Lowe Farm, Rosetown and surrounding area.

Deadline for nominations is April 4th, 2023.
Nomination Procedures:
Members wishing to be nominated for the position of Director of the Cooperative must deliver nomination applications by April 4th, 2023. Current Directors terms of office expire the day of the Annual General Meeting.
All nomination applications submitted must include the following:
(i) Be signed by at least three members other than the nominee.
(ii) Be accompanied by a brief biography of the nominee.
(iii) Contain the written consent of the nominee.
